    Classrooms can suck the life out of learning. But learning can be engaging, personal, even fun. That's why we do things a little differently. We pair each student with a high-caliber mentor to form one-on-one relationships through individualized learning.

  • Rapport

    Learning is personal. It's true for our students and it's true for all of us. A 30-on-1 or even a 4-on-1 classroom can provide the material, but it can't cater to the needs of an individual student the same way a personal learning environment can. We build relationships that foster better learning.

  • Communication

    Progress reports, schedules, lesson summaries, and strategy updates keep parents in the loop and students on track. Parents and students have the support of their tutor and the whole HGL administrative team behind them.

  • Resources

    Higher Ground Learning supplements curriculum with field trips, projects and other means to form a connection between the student's studies and the communities around them. We show them purpose in their studies, as well as focus on developing personal interests, confidence, and a lasting interest in their education.
