SAT Score Guarantee Terms

a) If you have enrolled in an international SAT preparation class and have a previous official score of less than 1250, Higher Ground Learning guarantees that your SAT score after the preparation class will be at least one hundred (100) points higher than your official SAT score. If it is not, then you shall be entitled to receive a refund of the class enrollment fee* subject to the following terms:

  • Your baseline score is defined as your highest previous official SAT score. If you do not have an official SAT score, a PSAT score may be used.
  • You must physically attend and complete in-person all required Higher Ground Learning SAT full-length tests, proctored by a Higher Ground Learning Instructor or Representative.
  • You must attend 100% of all required class sessions.
  • You must complete all required in-class work, practice, and/or activities and assigned homework for each class session.
  • You must schedule and attend a minimum of two (2) hours of one-on-one tutoring time outside of the required class sessions.
  • You must take an official SAT within sixty (60) days after the final day of the SAT class.

(b) If you have enrolled in an international SAT preparation class and have a previous official score between 1250-1440 (inclusive), Higher Ground Learning guarantees that your SAT score after the preparation class will be at least fifty (50) points higher than your official SAT score. If it is not, then you shall be entitled to receive a refund of the class enrollment fee* for the SAT class subject to the following terms:

  • Your baseline score is defined as your highest previous official SAT score. If you do not have an official SAT score, a PSAT score may be used.
  • You must physically attend and complete in-person all required Higher Ground Learning SAT full-length tests, proctored by a Higher Ground Learning Instructor or Representative.
  • You must attend 100% of all required class sessions.
  • You must complete all required in-class work, practice, and/or activities and assigned homework for each class session.
  • You must schedule and attend a minimum of two (2) hours of one-on-one tutoring time outside of the required class sessions.
  • You must take an official SAT within sixty (60) days after the final day of the SAT class.

All money-back requests must be verified by Higher Ground Learning Administration. Refunds will be made in the original form of payment in US dollars. Higher Ground Learning reserves the right to void eligibility for the Money-Back Guarantee if a student’s fulfillment of the requirements is deemed fraudulent based on performance data and/or other metrics.

ACT Score Guarantee Terms

(a) If you have enrolled in an international ACT preparation class and have a previous official score of less than 26, Higher Ground Learning guarantees that your ACT score after the preparation class will be at least three (3) points higher than your official ACT score. If it is not, then you shall be entitled to receive a refund of the class enrollment fee* for the ACT class subject to the following terms:

  • Your baseline score is defined as your highest previous official ACT score.
  • You must physically attend and complete in-person all required Higher Ground Learning ACT full-length tests, proctored by a Higher Ground Learning Instructor or Representative.
  • You must attend 100% of all required class sessions.
  • You must complete all required in-class work, practice, and/or activities and assigned homework for each class session.
  • You must schedule and attend a minimum of two (2) hours of one-on-one tutoring time outside of the required class sessions.
  • You must take an official ACT within sixty (60) days after the final day of the ACT class.

(b) If you have enrolled in an international ACT preparation class and have a previous official score between 26-32 (inclusive), Higher Ground Learning guarantees that your ACT score after the preparation class will be at least two (2) points higher than your official ACT score. If it is not, then you shall be entitled to receive a refund of the class enrollment fee* for the ACT class subject to the following terms:

  • Your baseline score is defined as a your highest previous official ACT score.
  • You must physically attend and complete in-person all required Higher Ground Learning ACT full-length tests, proctored by a Higher Ground Learning Instructor or Representative.
  • You must attend 100% of all required class sessions.
  • You must complete all required in-class work, practice, and/or activities and assigned homework for each class session.
