HGL - Creative Tutoring and ACT SAT Test Preparation

Hello, my name is Mike Shrieve.  I moved around a lot when I was younger: Miami to San Francisco,  Boston to Little Rock, and finally settling down in Salt Lake in the seventh grade.  It was that year that my life changed forever with the discovery of snowboarding.  I stayed in Salt Lake, attending Rowland Hall-St. Marks, until I graduated and decided to attend Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.  Two and a half years later, my snow withdrawal symptoms forced me to return to SLC, where I am now pursuing an undergraduate degree in mathematics.  I love music, whether I am making beats on my computer or on my MPC, or playing with my band.  I came to HGL in the fall of 2009, and I love being able to teach and get kids stoked on the things I am passionate about!
